I knew he would, still it sounds betrayal to me.

But he remains the hero of the World Cup. I will keep his photo on my desktop. For some time.

Gigi Buffon said he will stay. If he confirms it, the next photo on my desktop might be his. I must find a good one. Shouldn't be difficult.
